Hannah - Get to know me!
Hi!
My name is Hannah, and I’m running to be your next VP Student Life. I think you should know a bit about me since you’re going to see me around campus quite often.

First question, what does a Vice President Student Life do?
We have 5 executive members in the team. We have the president on top and then 4 other guys. The president looks after generally everything on campus. Then we have the money guy (Finance and Operations), the working-with-the-government guy (External Affairs), a talking-to-the-school guy (University Affairs) and the fun guy (me - Student Life). I take care of all the parties, events and student groups and clubs on campus.
​​​Second question, who am I?
I’m studying in my second year of Computer Science. I’m an international student from Vietnam. ​I did college for one year in Vietnam and majored in Artificial Intelligence before I dropped out and moved to Canada.

You may have spotted me around campus as the free ice cream girl. In the past year, as a campus ambassador for Dairy Farmers of Canada, I have sponsored over 30 events on campus and gave out over 4000 free dairy products.
I served over 60 liters of ice cream that day
I love doing a random walk whenever I feel slightly depressed (Canada is a depressing land). I’ve started walking more now since I injured my knee while skiing one day before Christmas last year. I also love cooking and hosting dinner nights with my friends.
